iQoo Z9s Series Launch Date Announced
iQoo CEO Nipun Marya (@nipunmarya) recently confirmed the launch date for the iQoo Z9s series in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The announcement was accompanied by an image showcasing the smartphones in a striking golden color. The promotional picture also featured the tagline “Segment’s fastest curved screen phone,” likely highlighting its high refresh rate.
Earlier this month, Marya gave a sneak peek of one of the iQoo Z9s series models. The teaser showcased the smartphone in a white finish with a marble-like pattern, potentially named ‘Luxe Marble,’ which was also hinted at in a separate X post by iQoo India’s official account.
The teaser image revealed a rectangular camera module with a silver, possibly metallic, border and rounded edges positioned in the top left corner of the device. The right edge of the phone was shown with the volume rocker and power button.
In a discussion with Gadgets 360 last month, Marya mentioned that the launch of the iQoo Z9s and Z9s Pro would be a historic first for the brand in India, marking the debut of two Z-series devices simultaneously.
Additionally, a recent GeekBench report revealed a device with the model number Vivo l2035, which is believed to be part of the iQoo Z9s series. The phone scored 1,137 in single-core and 3,044 in multi-core tests, suggesting it might feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with an Adreno 720 GPU.
