How long should I charge my two way radio battery?
As always, it depends on the type of battery. Ni-CAD, Ni-MH and Li-Ion all have different charging methods. Generally though, it should only take two hours on a rapid charger and 4-6 hours on a standard charger. When using for the first time, it is recommended that you charge overnight, that is, the charging time is about 12 hours. Some specialized chargers take longer, such as charger-conditioners.
